Great Service! Great Skills! Great Quality!
From my initial phone conversation with Craig to my first encounter with Darrell at the job site, I was impressed. First, getting any contractor scheduled within a week is a gift. Second, having said contractor show up on time with a sincere smile, friendly disposition AND the skills to do the work made my day! Third, the fact that Darrell had resolved both issues successfully and cleaned both work spaces before departing left me feeling I had won the lottery. Toilet replaced-Done! Insta-Hot working-Done! Me-Happy! Thank you!

Clogged dryer vent and slow sink
They were able to squeeze us in the next day and JB was fabulous getting the issues squared away for my renter.

Dave was GREAT!
Dave was super friendly, helpful and not only solved the problem of a broken and dismantled closet, but actually worked to make the hanging rod and shelving stronger than before! So appreciated his help!

Poor quality, poor estimation and lack of response
I had a very specific list of projects that needed to be completed. The projects were prioritized as I had limited budget. If it was going to take too much time for one project then I explained I would drop it from the list. The contractor came, I walked through the work and was told it could be completed within the day. Shortly after, I was told another crew member was needed for one of the projects. The contractor called the office to see if he could get an assist. The second person came but I was never told it was going to be an additional $60 service fee on top of his time. I was also told later the main reason he was there was because the ladder was too heavy to be carried in an that was really why he was needed. The top priority item on my list was never touched. I had two different areas of my house torn up. He didn't complete one project then move on to the next. There were 3 projects going on at the same time. However, my #1 priority project hadn't been touched. At 4:30 I am told he is done for the day, yet only 1 project had been completed and house still torn up. I am then told I will have to schedule another time for him to come back and finish the work! So essentially live with your house torn up until I can get back here. He was able to come back the second day and the workmanship was not quality. My door trip does not match and he screwed in the ceiling fan plate crooked into the box so the fan wobbles now. AND he screwed it in so tight, it can't be loosened to readjust. I called the company and told them the issue. They had the contractor call me direct. He wanted to come while I was at work. I told him it needed to be scheduled. That was over a week ago and I have not heard back from him or the company. It was way too expensive for what I got in return. I still have project that now need to be redone.

A Toilet Trifecta
Maybe all of my johns were on the same basic timetable for going mechanically off, but I ended up calling Handyman Matters with assorted restroom woes: I had one ever-flowing Niagra Falls of a toilet; one Still Waters just forever sitting there (well, OK, maybe an eventuaaaally trickle-filling), and one rocking horse commode. Lee did a great job with each challenge and helped me diagnose a door-handle issue as well. (He was probably pretty happy to be out of a bathroom for a few minutes.) Lee was professional, tidy and unobtrusive while problem solving for us. I also appreciated HandyMan Matters for having a good system for setting & confirming appointments, for providing estimates so we were prepared on the budget side, for being able to give us an appointment quickly, and for sending us Lee.. Thank you, Lee, and thank you, Handyman Matters!. .

Needs a new vacuum cleaner
Mike was great! He was punctual, polite, and very professional. All was well until he turned on the shop vac which spewed dirt and dust all over the house. It took hours of clean up. I believe -- for those of us who own, manage, and lead -- that we must support our people with the right tools to get the job done. For cryin' out loud, get Mike a new vacuum cleaner!

Michael was excellent. Very professional and did what I asked. I had him realign some metal shelves in my garage. He also brought down everything in my attic. He was very efficient and I would recommend him and your company to anyone. Thanks.
