Andrew and his associate did an excellent job hanging my electric fireplace on my bedroom wall. In fact, the fireplace came with decorative rocks to be placed on the inside of the frame. Without asking, Andrew took his time to meticulously place each rock perfectly along the frame. It’s beautiful. I’m very happy with the service. Yes, I’m using them again for another project. I highly recommend Ace services.

They were to build two boxes, one on an existing shelf and one on a newly built shelf. Work had to be repeated because they put the box on the bottom of the shelves. Joints did not meet. They didn't use finishing nails but screws and nails. Boards were split because they didn't drill pilot holes. I had to add finishing nails so the box would stay together. I had to glue and fill split wood and gaps at joints. I had to add more supports so it would not pull apart when a pull-out shelf was opened. It was lots of work to add wood putty filler and sand so they could be painted. Note that I gave them a sketch and written instructions for this part of the job. They also repaired five kitchen drawers. Their repair solution was good and they did a good job repairing them but when they installed them into the cabinets they sat crooked and didn't shut all the way. I pointed this out and had to suggest how to solve the problem. I was given a price ($500) for 3-4 hours of work. They upped the price to $1000 even though originally they were to build five new drawers in the kitchen but instead they added supports and a couple of boards in two drawers. The project took many, many hours with several trips over a couple of weeks. The handyman was polite and easy to work with. The gentleman who gave me the original price was very polite but when he called to tell me he was upping the price and that it would actually take much longer, both our tempers got a little hot. He implied I was at fault, not sure why because I did not add anything to the job. I became very frustrated and we both raised our voices. I do believe in the end he made things right with the pricing and did his best working with me on scheduling. I would not recommend Ace Handyman Services. I suggest they look at a job before giving a price and how long the project will take. It was obvious that the service should not include building drawers. They handy man was not qualified to do this kind of work.

They are fast friendly and very efficient. Happy with the service received will gladly use them again when needed.

I have had difficulty in getting a reliable handyman to build a foundation and assemble a shed for my granddaughter. I spoke with Andrew at the Ace Hardware, Capitol Heights, Maryland location. He gave me a price quote scheduled the start time. this morning, he arrived on time and competed the foundation. He will assemble the shed on Monday. I am very impressed with his professionalism so far.

The job was done quickly & professionally but I had ask for cleaning of the tile on the wall which was not done. For the price paid a quick cleaning of the tile was expected to be done also. It would not have taken long to do it because it was clean at the top just near the tub. I told the owner what I wanted done before hand. It would have been better if the tile was done.

Andrew replaced my old vessel bathroom sink with a new one. He was fast and efficent. Great care was taken by not to damage the vanity and other bathroom fixtures as my bathroom is very small and he had a very small space to work in. This was my third time using Ace and each time Andrew was sent out to do the work. I will always request him because he is very thorough and respecftful of my home.

Andrew, was prompt, very polite in presenting himself as an Ace technician. Andrew quickly reviewed the door and the spring hinges that needed replacing. Andrew, completed installation of the spring hinges well with-in an hour. I would recommend the Ace Handyman company for house hold jobs
