Doug and Kenny replaced my transmission and did a superb job. My new transmission has provided trouble-free service. Better yet, I learned that they do other auto maintained besides just transmission work. When I had a problem with a repair made by another business, I took my car to them and they fixed the problem at no charge!
Doug and Kenny are local guys who can be trusted to do the right thing at the right price. I highly recommend Cottman of Gladstone for honest and dependable auto maintenance.

I had changed the transmission fluid and filter as well as another gasket under the hood of my car. When I was done the car would not shift out of first gear. Realizing I did not have the expertise to even diagnose the problem I took the car to Cottman in Gladstone.
30 minutes after I dropped the car off Kenny called to say the car was ready and there was no charge. I was shocked to hear that I had forgotten to reconnect the throttle position sensor which caused the car to not shift. I would like to thank Kenny for his honesty, he could have told me almost anything was wrong with my transmission and I probably would have believed it. If I have any transmission issues in the future I will definitely be going to Cottman in Gladstone.

I was having a problem with my car. It was leaking power steering fluid. A car dealership wanted $3,000 it repair it. I took it to Cottman and they took care of me for significantly less money and I have had no further problems! Thank you Cottman for a job well done and you have gained a new client as well. I will be sure to tell others of the great service I received! It is a nice clean shop too.
