Matt was on time, professional and was able to discuss all of my issues without skipping a beat. I will give you 5 stars when I get the written estimate in hand. I have called several companies but no one will put it on paper or in an email.

Ok spoke with person in setting up appt. Told them the problem was my cheimmy when He arrives
I am told I we don't get on roof's ok where else would you have chimney
But in your roof. So no help from them.

We appreciate the customers call and the opportunity to help her with her home repairs. We are not insured to work on a roof. This was conveyed to the customer several times during the initial conversation on the phone. She ensured us that this was some type of wood rot in the chimney near the base of the fireplace. We would never have scheduled a visit to the house if we thought the issue was above the roof line. We apologize for any misunderstandings on either side, but we qualify the customers information during our initial phone calls to ensure it is worth both of our efforts to proceed to a consultation. We have never gone on a consultation that requires us to go on a roof.

Offered a unique repair/install for an attic drop stair
I was looking for a pretty scare service, a report on the condition of an ll ft aluminum attic drop stair. Matt came out, was professional, prompt and courteous. He was able to get the stair to operate at about 95% capacity. He noted that it had a pulley system added that was unusual. He offered a price to repair it and also a price to repair it. I will and have already recommended this company and their services to others.

Unable to use services at this time
Although I was able to get my project completed and did not need the service of the Ace Handyman at this time. He came out in the rain and was on time; unfortunately, I forgot to cancel the appointment. He was very friendly and nice about my miscommunication. I really appreciate his customer service and patience! Thanks to Ace for having people with such great customer service and care. I will definitely keep this service in mind for future home projects.

Professional and honest
Matt was great. He arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He even made my dog feel comfortable! What I appreciate most is that he was very honest. He told me that my problem is more likely a roof issue and therefore not something he could address. A more unscrupulous person would have taken advantage of my ignorance, but he told me the truth. Since it was a consultation, he didn't even charge me anything, just told me what next steps I need to take. It was so refreshing to not be scammed or cheated and I'll definitely be reaching out when I do have some tasks that he or his team can accomplish.

No one ever returned my request for service
I called on a Monday morning and spoke with a very nice lady who took my information about a broken window latch. She said someone would call me shortly. That was more than a week ago. No call. If you don't want the business or can't handle it, the courteous thing to do is make the call.
