We had tried to use another handyman service and were not happy when a light installation was not to our satisfaction and then we were told the handyman simply couldn't do the remaining jobs (2 bathroom exhaust fans) even though we had described the job before he ever came out and was assured he could do it. We called Handyman Matters and were given an appointment for early the following week. Then we got a call the next day saying a technician had had a cancellation and could be available at noon. I met him at our house. Taylor was professional, efficient and very pleasant. He rehung our light in about 1/4 the time it took the other service to hang it to begin with. He installed two bathroom exhaust fans in a little less than an hour. The company was beyond prompt in scheduling the appointment. The total price was less than the estimate we had been given on the phone. The work was outstanding. The whole experience was a very refreshing surprise. When we need more work done in the future, we will definitely call Handyman Matters.

Handyman Matters completed repairs on my fence in an efficient amount of time. The service was very good. The gate is now easy to open.

The repair of my water damaged ceiling was a challenge, because it was textured, but when it was done it matched perfectly. The cost was reasonable. My only criticism is that the clean-up could have been better, but that would have required extra time at an hourly rate, so I was OK with that.

Steve was running later than the appointed time, but he called ahead and asked if his being about 30 minutes late would be okay, which was fine with me. When he arrived he was very professional and willing to do the several small jobs I needed done. He was an excellent worker and I would willingly want him to return the next time I need a Handyman!

I had four jobs, none were large but they all were somewhat complicated. Steve was a good problem solver and came up with good solutions. He kept me informed about what he was doing and listened to suggestions I made. I appreciate how easy it is to contact Handyman Matters and the excellent follow-up.

Handyman Matters did a major job in my basement including sheetrock and painting. In addition to those projects, I added several items needing attention in my home--new light fixture, tile repair, work on back deck and other home needs that I had been putting off. Steve Simpson came to my house and listened carefully as we walked through the rooms. He made an initial bid for the work and was able to finish on time and within budget. I am very pleased with the work that was done by this professional company.

Great company to take care of those things that you are too busy to do or just plain not able to handle. My husband is 68 and I will no longer hardly let him look at a ladder let alone climb up on one, so when we needed a pot rack hung from the kitchen ceiling these folks got the job done quickly and efficiently. It took their technician a lot less time than it would have taken him and I know the results are at least as good as what my mans efforts would have produced.

I had an issue with rain that had leaked in to a window that was framed out from my house. The job is too small for many contractors too big for a lot of handymen. The estimate was accurate and the work was done to my satisfaction. Andrew was very professional and was on time to arrive and complete .
