So professional and friendly. Michelle the owner is so prompt and helpful with assistance and getting a quote and schedule. George was prompt and got the materials and did excellent work! There was a huge hole in the carport ceiling and I put off months getting it repaired because of my skepticism with contractors on who to call. I will only use Handyman Matters as I have other work to be done. I am so impressed from start to finish!!!

He was on time. Did exactly what I asked him to do. After he finished I mentioned another job I was thinking about. I wanted to mount a TV in one of my kids rooms. However, I didn’t have the right equipment. He was able to repurpose an old TV mounting bracket I had in the garage. It worked out perfectly and saved me money since I was able to utilize something I already had and didn’t have to buy a new TV bracket.

This was my second time using Handyman Matters. I had just as great an experience as the first time! I wanted to fabricate custom slats for a gate. Michele, the owner, helped me find a place to purchase the wood (Ipe) and have the boards cut to my dimensions (Woodworker's Source, a local company - Great People and Company!). Michele communicated with me every step of the way during the search and planning process. Michele cares about your project as much as you do. I treated the slats with Tung Oil and made an appointment for George to make some final cuts and drill some holes for the installation. As before, George arrived a few minutes early (gotta love it!) and went to work. The finished product is beautiful. I have total confidence in Michele and George. Our service was scheduled a few days out but Michelle called me the very next day saying she could get someone out that afternoon which was a tremendous help since we were hoping to have our items completed before company arrived in a few days. Michelle is professional, friendly and pretty much a miracle worker! George arrived as scheduled (actually he was able to get here even earlier). He met our dogs-- one of which usually scares the beejeezus out of everyone due to his large size and unfriendly nature towards strangers. This usually creates a hassel where I need to confine the dogs in another room but not with George who, as it turns out, is quite the "dog whisperer". Within just a minute or two, our usually scary guard dog was sitting by George's side happily wagging his tail. George is professional, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He had our closet doors cut to fit and re-hung in no time. He also installed dimmer switches and ceiling fan mechanisms plus replaced a hazardous light fixture that had been haphazardly installed by others (not by anyone at this company). George cleaned up before he left and I couldn't get over how quickly and efficiently he went about his work. We have used this company before and will continue to in the future since they are absolutely the best. And we will definitely be requesting George!
