Darrel arrived on time and completed all my tasks quickly and correctly. I had him hang a few signs and hooks in brick as well as check an outdoor light timer that was giving us trouble. I was very satisfied and will use him again!

I just had a couple of cabinet door hinges repaired or tweaked. Small job. Darryl arrived on time, was efficient, pleasant, and got it done in an hour. Hourly charge is a little high in my opinion, but regardless the service was good in its communications and performance.

Answered my questions and explained how he was doing things. Completed everything on my list. Pleasant and personable, honest, hard-worker. I never write reviews, but feel compelled on this occasion. After being let down by another company who cancelled with no notice after I'd booked two handymen to hang some large pictures and carry out other jobs, I called Handyman Matters. They said they could only send one person in the short timeframe I needed, but he'd do his best to do everything. (They don't go up on roofs though, so there was one job they couldn't do, but they told me that on the initial call). There was a small issue with their scheduling as they'd double booked me due to a new booking system, but as I couldn't do another time they honoured the initial appointment. Darryl arrived on time, was meticulous, polite, efficient and did everything that I was expecting I would need two people for. He also took it completely in his stride when at the end of the day I told him I wasn't happy with the positioning of one large picture, and it needed to be 9 inches lower... (He had put it where I asked but I changed my mind, the fault was mine not his). I would definitely use the company again, and ask for Darryl!
