Having spent many hours in the dentist chair when I was young, I'm always nervous about the prospect of dental work. It's always the best experience possible with Dr. Citrin because he's sensitive to my issues and is always ensures that I'm free of pain.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Citrin for many years and now I bring my 6 year old daughter to him as well. After many failed attempts at not finding a trustworthy pediatric dentist for my daughter I brought her to Dr. Citrin. He did not need to sedate her or even give her novocaine shots to fill all of her cavities. Pediatric dentists wanted to sedate or use laughing gas on my daughter for every procedure and she is a patient who cooperates fully. He was fast and efficient and my daughter was not in the chair more than 15 minutes at a time. I highly recommend him for all ages of patients. I really enjoy going to Dr. Citrin because I never feel pressure into doing or buying anything that is not necessary for the health of my mouth. I typically like to do everything in a more naturopath way and Dr. Citrin does not get upset that I do not use fluoride and I prefer more natural types of toothpaste for my family and I. I don't leave his office feeling bad about my teeth, as some other dentist and staff tend to make you feel. People need to hear the not so good news about their mouth but they also need to hear what is good as well, and Dr. Citrin does just that!

I met the hygienist for the first time today, Nancy. She introduced herself since we had not met. She asked me if I was having any issues and focused her time on the areas of concern for me. She let Dr. Citrin know about these issues and also some other things she was concerned about. Dr. Citrin gave me a plan of action for my problem areas and we will see how things go from here.

Great customer service

My appointment today was for a cleaning and routine check. As has been the case over many years as a patient of Dr. Citrin, I was seen promptly and received excellent care. I have spent many hours in a dentist's chair and have absolutely no reservations in recommending him. I'm not looking forward to my followup appointment to have some work done (one of my least favorite things), but, based on previous experience, I know it will be pain-free and efficiently done.

I will definitely tell people to use Dr. Jay citrin. He treats you like one of his own. Very gentle and kind! Makes going to the dentist not so bad. Had a root canal done, was in and out within an hour. Pain was almost non existent afterwards.
