Good pricing, good service.
While shopping retailers in the Pittsburgh area for our hardwood, we were introduced to Prosource by our contractor. Though you can't buy there unless you know a contractor who has an account, they will certainly save you money versus buying from a retailer. Their salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful too.

Totally Satisfied
A decorator from Arhaus recommended that I purchase my accent rug from ProSource. She specifically recommended Anne Firetto. I was able to arrange for an appointment with Anne for just a few days later. Anne was knowledgeable, professional, and just a delight to work with. I have absolutely no "color sense" nor the ability to visualize what an end result will look like. After working with my small swatches of chairs and couch fabric, I ended up taking home 2 samples of carpet that Anne suggested. I made a decision, the order was placed, and I had my carpet in a couple of weeks. I absolutely love it and my room is finally "pulled" together. I will add though, that I was a bit anxious to trust my measurements. The carpet was going to be custom made and if I took incorrect measurements, I would have to live with my mistake. So, I made a floor template with paper and presented this to Anne. She was very gracious and did not laugh at my efforts. I had a very positive experience & would recommend ProSource to friends.

Disappointment
I have dealt with Prosource on several occasions. Each time I say that I will not deal with them again and for one reason or not I go back. The last time I dealt with them was to replace the carpet in my living room. When the contractor showed up with the carpet he mentioned to me that we ordered way too much carpet and advised me to call before he installs it. I spoke to the salesperson Clint who was very adornment that the order was correct. When I informed him that there was too much carpet, he simply asked. "who measured it." Well of course I did but am very capable of measuring a square room. This went on for several weeks back and forth between me and the manager. They kept asking who measured to which I continue to reply me. However, Clint took the order and told us what we needed. Then they tried, well you signed for it. That was ridiculous as we were told this was how much we needed due to a pattern in the carpet. Only when the installer questioned the order did we inquire as the the quantity of carpet provided. Now don't forget, they always require the merchandise is paid for in full prior to being picked up and several weeks have gone by and the installer will not install until the problem is worked out with the manager. Only after I invited him to my hours to measure for himself did you agree to take back the carpet that Clint excessively ordered. I tried to make a deal in that if my measurements were off by more than an inch, I would keep the carpet. If not, they would refund me for all the carpet I paid for. In the end they took back the excess but I had to fight. Moral of the story is to make sure someone from Prosource does the measuring and the sign off on the order. Having the home owner sign off on something that is not their nature only covers Prosource's butt. My advice to everyone is to go somewhere else regardless of price as it will be less stressful in the end.

Very, very positive experience
The Staff could not have been more patient and more helpful. We found everything that we needed for a bathroom remodel and made some fairly complex decisions in an hour or less. In / out efficient.

Professional
I'm a Contractor who has been dealing with this company for close to 20yrs and they have a great showroom, professional staff and have always taken care of my clients and myself. Buying through this business is beneficial to both the client and Contractor to purchase your flooring at closer to wholesale price, much better than the big-box stores.
