After dad fell and broke his leg, he went into a rehab center for 2 weeks before going home, We were very worried as my sister and I live out of state and cannot travel as often as we want to see our father. My mom passed several years ago so we needed help. Some friends referred us to Senior Helpers and they made it very easy to start care for dad. I had the tough task of getting my Mother's care for her early stages of dementia. She also needs help with day to day tasks such as bathing and shopping. The Caregiver Senior Helpers sent is so knowledgeable and patience with my Mom. She helped explain to me how best to care for my Mom at this stage in her life. It is a relief knowing my Mom is in good hands.

We set my father up with home care and met with several in our area. We chose one primarily based on cost and we couldn't of been more disappointed. They had 4 different caregivers come in the first 2 weeks and then they didn't show up. The caregiver called us and said he didn't have enough gas to come and that was the final straw. We also had met with Senior Helpers initially but they were $2 an hour more expensive. But boy were they worth it. Wayne came the next day and has been with dad for 4 months without a glitch. Mom fell and broke her hip. When she returned home we needed help for her and after meeting with Senior Helpers and 2 other companies we chose Senior Helpers and we are glad we did. Mom loved her caregiver do much even after she was back on her feet, she continued to use their service. Overall the service was better than expected.

I especially liked the fact that they use employees here and not independent contractors; they were able to find a perfect match for my mother who is not the easiest person to get along with.

Mom had a unexpected stroke and we were very concerned when she was released to go home. We met with several companies and choose Senior Helpers. It was a great experience and the 2 caregivers that helped mom were really great and brought our family much relief. Mom is better but we still use these ladies to help her with her daily actiivities.
