Eric showed up on time and got to work. He was joined by Roger who was also fantastic. They got the job done better than I expected and gave me helpful tips on how I could improve the room. Very professional and friendly. I'll be hiring them again soon.

We had our gutters cleaned. Eric was fantastic. He did great work. He explained everything he was going to do and followed up after the work was done. He was right on time and was very efficient. Very reasonable price as well.

I thought the contractor who came to my house today was generally professional and diligent about the task at hand - gutter cleaning. The service, however, started off somewhat confused when the contractor asked my wife (who was at home at the time) which gutters needed to be cleaned, and I recall telling Handyman Matters the previous Monday that all of the gutters needed to be cleaned. Oh well, some confusion, small matter. The contractor spent 4.5 hours cleaning the gutters attached to front and sides of my two story house. I think he did a nice job of not only removing the debris but also washing out the gutters with water from my hose. He also reattached a drain spout that the roofers had previously taken off, and also noted that an air conditioning drain pipe was causing water to pool in one part of the gutters, causing plants to grow there (thus precipitating my urgent call for gutter cleaning). Overall, I thought the service was prompt, professional, and well done overall. When it came to the price of the service ($500 for 4.5 hours, including a $50 service fee), I thought it was out of line with the bills I had received in the past for gutter cleaning service. One year, a fellow had removed the debris and washed out the gutters (similar to the Handyman Matters contractor) for $80. I was so impressed with his service I gave a $20 tip so that the total bill was $100. Other gutter cleaning outfits in past years have usually charged from $100 to $135 for their services. And so, even with the quality of today's service, the pricing was too high to consider repeat business.
