After MONTHS of scheduling multiple handymen to give us estimates and start work, we gave up when 7 of them never showed up, and 2 of them called the day of their confirmed start dates to say their truck broke down. BOTH said "their truck broke down". Nonsense. I was highly upset so I contacted Ace Handyman. On my 1st call I spoke to a live LOCAL person and was scheduled to have a handyman come 2 days later. HE DID COME 2 DAYS LATER & ON TIME! Our handyman was Will and he was professional and took pride in the quality of his work as well. He repaired parts of our screened porch, installed a new screen door and made sure I was satisfied each step. There is no other service company that has compared. I Highly recommend Ace Handyman and I will call them FIRST, and last, for all future projects.

My experience with two craftsmen both named Adam was excellent. One of the two ran a little late, but he informed me he would have to the night before, and it was an incidental time difference which happened to work in my favor. The other adam was there at the original stated time. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and worked diligently the whole day. They took pride in their work and paid attention to detail. I deducted one star because i had really hoped to have this atypical door installed on an interior room, where it certainly could have fit with some ingenuity and patience, and frankly that was the job i requested. It seemed like somewhere in the chain of command, the specifics of the job were not fully communicated to them. For example i lead with and reiterated the fact that the door jamb and rough opening would have to be resized when i spoke to dispatch, but the Adams did not seem to have that information on arrival. Also i tried to submit photos and a detailed overview of the project several times, several nights in a row, but the website seemed to delete some or all of that content when i attempted to save it, and occasionally just crashed while i was selecting relevant photos. That all said. I believe their appraisal of the cost and logistics of installing the door where i really wanted it to be accurate and honest. At that point i elected to have it installed in a second choice location i had in my pack pocket just in case. My only real discrepancy here is that dispatch gave me the impression that the first place was fully manageable if i booked two guys for the whole day. The job was of course fairly abstract to the dispatch receptionist without eyes on the door and location, so all in all i think everyone did the best job one could possibly expect. I would definitely recommend Ace Handyman Services to anyone with work to be done. I got an appointment fast, everyone was mostly very organized, upbeat, direct, friendly, honest and professional. I am extremely satisfied with the work they did.

This is the second time I’ve used at Ace Hardware Handyman and Will specifically. Will can figure anything out. He is a jack of all trades. Ace is expensive, but they have experienced contractors who know what they’re doing. They are professional, knowledgeable, and I will continue to use them.

Adam arrived at our house on time and we appreciated that he followed mask protocols. He assessed the job, purchased the materials, and completed the dryer vent installation that we needed. Great guy, very patient and friendly. Couldn't recommend more highly!
