Excellent carpentry work by James - he kept us posted all along after we scheduled the work, showed up on time, was friendly, helpful, and professional. He rebuilt our bifold door jam and rehung the doors properly - accomplished just what we wanted within the estimated time for the job; asked if there was anything else he could do; cleaned up after completing the job. Price for the work was reasonable. Would certainly use his services again, as well as Lisa at Ace Handyman Services who discussed the project and scheduled it. 5 out of 5 stars for both him and Lisa/Ace

James was GREAT! I thought $150 an hour was really high and then unknowingly be slapped with an additional $65 service fee. $215 for an hours worth of work is just outrageous.

Ace Handyman Services was great to work with from the beginning. Friendly, helpful person (Lisa) on the phone, very quick action to schedule the job, another confirmation the morning the job was to be done, an alert that the contractor was on his way and I could track when he would arrive. Jim was very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional, and my new bathroom looks great! There was a glitch with the installed grout due to what the store told him about the type of grout that I had already purchased-- they said it would be fine even though he didn't believe it would. But Jim made it right the next day at no extra labor expense to me. I have to add that the service was more expensive than I would have paid an individual, but I had worked with two previous individuals who came to my house to scope out and estimate the job, said they would do it and never showed up. So it was worth it to me to just have it done!
