Mark came out to fix up and paint about 20 storm windows that were in pretty bad shape. He was prompt, and I really liked his personality and professionalism. It was a lot of work he had to do in a short span, but he was able to finish them on time. The windows already make the house look better. It was an enjoyable experience. Great communication too from Ace and Mark. I plan on using this service again. Thanks.

Hiring a handyman is stressful for me so Ace Handyman was awesome to work with. Here’s what I like about them: 1. They answer the phone every time I called them. 2. They were able to set up appointments fairly quickly. 3. They asked for photos so the handyman can be prepared for the job ahead of time. 4. The handyman is respectful and seems happy to be able to help. I would recommend communicating exactly what you need done and making sure they have the tools to do the job.

I am very disappointed and will never use this service again. I’m pretty organized and called ahead with my projects including pictures. They said with all I had to do, it would be a full day’s work for two laborers and quoted $12-1600 plus any supplies needed to be purchased. I reached out to the confirmed contractor and supplied him with photos of jobs as well as order of priority. I also asked if I could buy anything ahead of time and have it waiting at the house so he could work right away. Never heard from him. The night before job, he called to say he’d be there and never told me he couldn’t do the jobs. Two men arrived right on time (the only thing they got right). One never introduced himself and the other acted clueless to what the projects we requested were. He was more interested in mansplaining why he couldn’t do the projects requested. I had them do the only item on my list that my husband couldn’t do and that still took 2.5 hours of 2 laborers, plus materials plus service charge. The work was about 1 hour and the other hour was mansplaining my disappointment that never should have happened. I’m giving a half hour to get supplies. We got gouged at over $300. Basically, they should have been upfront with me, provided a free in person estimate and we never would have booked them. Major disappointment. Finally when it was time for the invoice he claimed he gave us a break since we got off on the wrong foot and charged only 2 hours instead of 2.5 and didn’t charge for materials. We said ok and paid. Got the invoice which shows 2 hours, materials and a service fee. We should have been made aware of service fee and he should have emailed invoice or gave a paper one before we paid. He also used the insulting phrase “it costs money to own a home” and was overheard complaining about my disappointment to the office manager. Just glad to pay and say adios. I do not recommend this company.

Rick provided the excellent expertise on three very different projects! We were very happy with the results! Will call again!

I had terrible luck getting responses from local one man shop handymen for help at a rental property. Ace was easy to schedule with and Rick was above and beyond a great communicator since I wasn’t at the property. He was even willing and able to look at few other small things the tenant mentioned while there. Gave great ecommendations and was very professional with delivering “bad” news. I really appreciated his experience, education and recommendation! We’ll definitely be using Ace again.

Rick replaced huge screens for us, and the whole project went well - we're really pleased with the result. He had to source unusually large screen material, and his installation looks perfect. Better than when they were new. He and Ace Handyman were reachable and responsive. Very professional. Rick was more than happy to add another little project while he was here.

Rick was very professional when he repaired our existing older locks and installed a new deadbolt. He also completed a small window glazing that was on my to-do list for a long time. He's obviously a problem solver when it comes to older homes. He was timely, professional and did quality work. I will call Ace again for handyman services.

Tim Sayre done an outstanding job. He was here before he was scheduled to be here, because he called me ask if it was o k to come early and I said "yes". He completed the job before the time he had estimated and after cleanup and running the machine, there were no leaks and every thing run just like when it was new. Jus5 can't say enough about the workmanship and treatment I received from the Handyman. I would rate this company and employees very high.
