From the moment I contacted Ace Handyman Services to the post job completion followup, Ace staff have been excellent. I found them on Angie's List website. The combination of personal contact from office staff by phone, automated email confirmation of the job date, start time and workman's name, quality of the workmanship and the post job automated followup, I am completely satisfied. We have an old set of exterior wood stairs on our 3 story apartment building. Harley provided precise information and evaluation of the stairs' condition and remedies needed. Roger, the carpenter, did an excellent job top to bottom. We feel more secure knowing that we have extended the life of the stairs for our own safety and that of our tenants. I will definitely hire Ace Handyman Services Chicago in the future.

I received a text that Raid would be coming, instead Ali showed up. As a result, he was not prepared. He left saying he was sorry for this. He seemed rushed and indicated he had another job to go. He asked me if I could apply the silicon sealer and I would save 30 minutes from my bill. Seemed to be an odd request but I told him I could. The bill is around $240 excluding mater ials I bought. The value of this will not be fully realized until I apply. He nearly forgot to estimate the ceiling work. He did and took pictures. I will wait to see the estimate. I asked him what materials would be needed. Joint compound 20 minute type and dusting compound?

Did a fantastic job hanging my ceiling fan! The only reason this rating is not a "5" is that the appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM, and they did not arrive until 9:05 AM. They did contact me via text prior to 8:00 AM, but I wish I would have known they were not arriving until after 9:00 AM because I would have planned my morning accordingly. Does an appointment at 8:00 AM mean the person is contacting you at 8:00 AM & arriving at 9:00 AM?

3rd time using Ace Handyman, and always it's been the right call. Abraham did a job in 30 min that would've ruined my weekend if I'd done it. Recommended.

It was a simple job of re-screening a patio door, but made a bit challenging to due small balcony on which Jared had to work. He took the time to do the job right.

Had a great experience except for the cleanup. Lots of trash around my garbage can rather than in it, drips of spackle on my rugs, drywall water dried on my granite countertops. Relatively minor, but still not the cleanliness I expect from professionals. Would use again, but would monitor more closely and insist on better cleanup.

I was so happy with the entire experience with the Ace Handyman Service. Roger did a great job replacing partial door frames and they look great. Making the appointment was easy and everyone I talked to was very helpful and knowledgeable. I will use this service again.

Our handyman Andre arrived on time and completed the jobs in a timely manner. He installed 2 ceiling fans, installed a chain link fence gate latch and fixed another gate latch. We were able to go shop for the gate hardware while he started installing the ceiling fans. Andre was friendly and accommodating while working around our toddler and rambunctious dogs. We thought the rates were reasonable and we would be happy to use Ace Handyman services again in the future.
