I needed the weather-stripping replaced on my kitchen door. Bismark was great. He looked over the situation and explained what the best solution was needed. His work was meticulous and made sure he cleaned up after completion. I definitely will call Ace again for any future work I may need done.

Bismark was a little late but in this case it wasn't a great inconvenience. He proceeded to get the screws he needed to repair our outdoor stair railings and risers and was done in 3 hours (1 hour less than estimated). More needs to be done, but the current repair work is solid and will tide us over till spring. Highly recommended.

I was extremely happy that Ace decided to accept this job. Most contractors would not touch the job because it was too small. Andre did this job. He was prompt. Friendly too. A really nice guy. I did have a few issues. I should add that these issues were resolved. The first time that Andre came out, I had to explain the job to him. It seems that there was a communication problem between the office and Andre. Because he not purchase that correct materials, Andre had to shop for them. This caused a delay (and expense) that could have been avoided. Andre completed the job quickly, but after he left, I noticed some issues that could have been avoided. The door frame was not square. As a result, the gap between the door and frame was uneven. The moldings and jams were also uneven. I traced this issue to the fact that the first door jam that was replaced was off. All subsequent measurements that were taken from this reference were also off. If Andre would have taken a moment to check his work, this issue could have been avoided. The other issue was the area where the old molding met the new molding. Since the two moldings had a different profile, they did not match at the corners. Although this issue was obvious, Andre never asked me about it. He could have. I was in the house. This is finish carpentry in a highly visible area. These flaws were extremely obvious. Andre did return and make the frame look square (It still is off, but it looks much better.) and he replaced the mismatched molding. Andre has the skills to do the job right. He just needs to slow down and check his work as he goes. I would rather pay for a little more labor time and have the job done right the first time. I am giving this job an average rating because it is O.K., but it could have been better. I also have a suspicion that if I didn't point out the flaws, they would not have been corrected. If you hire these folks, keep an eye on them. If anything doesn't look right, stop the job immediately. Don't assume that the job will be done correctly the first time.

Jose and Sergio showed up on the day and time they were scheduled to put our gutter guards on. Very courteous and professional. They got to work right away and completed the job within the time expected. Cleaned up all debris and answered any questions we had about maintenance of the gutter guards. The price was reasonable too. My husband and I were very happy with the whole experience, and highly recommend Ace Handyman Services.

I needed a desk assembled and an old, broken one discarded. Elmer was my craftsman. He was great! He arrived early, ready to go to work. He was friendly and totally focused on getting the job done correctly and as quickly as possible. He explained everything. He dismantled what remained of my old desk and carried it down three flights to the dumpster! :) He cleaned up everything when he was done. Great experience all around. I will definitely use again.

I am so glad that a friend referred me to Ace Handyman Services! Working with Martha to get my ever changing to-do list addressed was so easy. She was super responsive, and was patient with all of my questions. Andre showed up on time and did great work. He was honest about a task that he couldn't complete, but gave us great info about the issue so that we could find another company to address the problem. It feels so good to have gotten all of these random tasks completed by one person in one day. Will definitely use them again.

Andre was very knowledgeable and professional. He showed up on time. He repaired rotted wood on garage entry door and it looks great. He also built a basement storm window and painted all the basement storm windows. I will definitely use Ace Handyman Services again!.

Greg did a good job of discussing all the requirements and making suggestions. He seems to know his stuff. This was just an estimate visit.

Repair was re-scheduled twice by the ACE dispatch. Job was estimated to be 1 hour and ended up being 3, so cost much more than expected.
