Install an attic hatch with a ladder
We had an excellent experience with Mike who installed a ladder/hatch system in our house. The job was done well, the price was right, the service was outstanding and the timing perfect. We could not be happier.

Job done to perfection
I my basement and installed all of the doors, but they got out of alignment during sheet rocking and could no longer be fully opened or closed. Tom is an expert carpenter and builder, and knew exactly how to fix the problem by adjusting the framing in strategic places without the need for messy planing. Now, they all open and close perfectly. I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend Handyman Matters.

Quality work
Bob met me on time to give me an estimate for the work to be done.
Our deck needed some repairs and we needed a mysterious leak to be located and fixed.
After some coordination and timing issues that were overcome, Tom began to do the work. He's a bit gruff, but he puts 110%+ into his work (he nearly suffered heatstroke one day). He managed to figure out the source of the leak; he not only fixed it, but also secured/sealed other areas "just in case". Quality work on the deck repairs. Can't thank them enough or recommend them enough.

Professional and reliable
I had a very good experience with Handyman Matters. Bob met me promptly for an estimate and was able to schedule the work in a reasonable period of time (needed the kitchen ceiling to be painted, the bathroom to be painted after a failed home improvement project, and the base of the bathtub to be re-caulked). Mike did a nice job and was pleasant to have in the house for the day. The bathroom needed a second coat of paint and Bob scheduled Mike to return today to finish it up. I plan to call HM again for future items on my to do list!

Extremely Pleased
Mike was on time and extremely professional. He meticulously installed two closet systems, a medicine cabinet, planed two doors, and hung my wine rack all while dealing with poorly designed/installed wall studs. I'm extremely pleased with his work and will definitely contact Handyman Matters for any additional home improvement projects.

I had a porch rescreeming project. They were excellent in communicating with me about my needs and researched better materials to use. Put it all in clear written proposal and worked well to set up a time to come. Work was very professionally done. I recommend Handyman Matters for the small unusual projects like mine.
