I may have found a new handy service
The initial call about service was pleasant and attentive, as was the follow-up call to set appointment time and confirm details. I have grown tired of home service companies that do not have dedicated communication staff. The people who answer the phone are vital to customer experience, and Ace handled this well. The house call went well. Jeff arrived ahead of time. He installed four art shelves and changed ten smoke alarm batteries; he even drove to the store to pickup the batteries. This was a test with simple jobs: Ace did quite well. I will hire them for future more complex jobs.

Attic work
The handyman did a great job laying the plywood in our attic so we can get some good use for more storage space. But he did not get the correct size attic door and is now having to come back at another time. I hope we do not get charged for an additional fee for him to come back to the house since this was his fault for grabbing the wrong size door. He made a visit to the house and then went to the store. You would have thought he would have measured before going to the store. Anyway, that’s my only concern. But overall we are happy we went with Ace. Still getting the job done.

Thank you for your business and response, we apologize for the mix up with the supplier and the fact that they had the wrong size units on site. They typically only carry the one size so what they provided was very unusual and something the craftsman doesn't usually need to check. The suppliers and materials have been an ongoing challenge these past months but that is what we are here for and better of us having to deal with it than our customers. Without question once the unit comes in we will shall return to your home and get it done and you will not be charge any additional trip fees for that. Thanks again for your business!
