Professional and friendly
Tim Frye was on time, friendly and professional. He came out to fix some of our siding from wind damage and even accomplished some of the other smaller tasks we haven't been able to get around to. We will definitely be using Ace handyman services again and requesting Tim for the job.

Quality Service, friendly technician
We had several indoor lights replaced and wired and several outdoor lights replaced. Work was done quickly but at great quality. Highly recommend their services.

Efficient, personable service
We had four storage cabinets and a media shelf built. Jason provided professional service and high quality work and in less time than the estimate. He was also very pleasant to work with. I will definitely call Ace Handyman for future projects;

Professional and friendly service.
Finally a company that does exactly what was promised. Our daughter needed some assistance with a couple of minor projects at her house she bought not even a year ago, and being a first time homebuyer, she needed some help from a trusted individual/company. Andrew came to her house this morning (on the dot), and did more than was expected, and at a fair price! This company is definitely our “Ace in the hole.” Our daughter will definitely be calling them again for future projects. Thank you, Brian, Richard, and Andrew!

Scam
Avoid at all cost, unless you're willing to give a blank check on a project. Was grossly underestimated on a job in price and time. After Alot of back and forth with scope of job, was given an estimate for my project. What a joke. If an accurate estimate can't be given, maybe suggest a more in depth project assessment. When the job was started, was told it would take another day (5 total) and cost $2k more. I agreed knowing it might be a bit more work for one contractor. After the first week was done, received an invoice for the weeks work. It was for the original estimate, with half the project done. If I hadn't received the invoice, I wouldn't have known they were going to come back the following week and charge double the original estimate. After calling in, was told it would be double the amount (for now). It felt totally slimy. Was told "sometimes we miss it on estimates". I totally felt ripped off and no longer trusted this company. Can't believe a "veteran" owned company would run their business like this. Felt like a total scam. I changed nothing about my project after receiving their estimate and then starting the project.

Our craftsman and field supervisor explained before work began that your project would need additional time to accomplish your desired end result and our craftsman provided you with daily updates on the progress of your project including the work that would be completed the next day. When hidden conditions changed the scope of your project additional time was needed, I apologize that you feel that was unfair. Electrical Service
Totally unsatisfactory service with outrageous price!!! I called to get service to hang 3 lights, 2 ceiling fans and replace some electrical outlets. I provided pictures of 1 light that was in my foyer which had an eighteen-foot celling. Ace Handyman estimated that there would be a need for 2 workers and an estimate of eight hours work to complete all the job. After 8 hours work with 1 hour of that with the workers staring at the ceiling in the foyer for an hour trying to figure out how they would hang the light without the proper ladders, I only got 1 light hung in my dining room (normal ceiling height), a ceiling fan that did not work because they couldn't figure out the wall switch and 6 wall outlets replaced. One of the workers, Jason, seemed embarrassed that I was charged $1,000 for such little work. When I called the office to express my anger that I didn't get what I paid for, the operator did apologize but said he couldn't do anything to help but maybe the owner would do something. Obviously, the owner did not call back or even try to make it right. When I did call Ace Handyman to get my ceiling fan fixed under their "Satisfaction Guaranteed", they insisted that I would need to pay an additional fee to come out because the wall switch was "defective" and not all the parts were available when they originally did the work. I guess this is one of those companies that is willing to overcharge you once and not expect any return work. I will NEVER use again and will definitely NEVER recommend. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Barry, I'm sorry your are unsatisfied with the service you received. We did replace 11 outlets, install a ceiling fan, fix a door latch, and install a dining room light. The one picture you provided did not give an accurate representation of your 20' ceiling, I do apologize. We did estimate 8 hours, ultimately providing 13 hours for the 8 hour price. The extra time needed to work through some issues was not charged. When you called to express your concerns we addressed each and asked how we can satisfy you, you responded with a request for us to come back and ensure the ceiling fan was operational. We returned a few days later and demonstrated that you had a bad fan switch that you provided and color coded your wiring in the event you wanted to install the switch once you had a new one. We also offered to return to install the new switch. You were not charge for this visit or subsequent visits under our warranty policy.
