High quality service
Had a new door installed. Our handyman was awesome! Home Depot had sold me the wrong door so he drove back and exchanged for no extra fee. Really took the time to make sure it was a good fit. Will definitely work with this company again in the future!

Super friendly and very knowledgeable
RJ was great! We helped with a few projects we needed to get done around the house and knew exactly how to take care of them. We’ll call them for future needs!

Excellent Service and Professionalism
I needed an installed Radon unit painted to match HOA regulations. Sean did an excellent job scoping the work. Then Sean and his associate (also named Sean) did an excellent job completing the work in a timely and professional fashion. I will use Handyman Matters for any needs going forward. Chris

Poor communication, hidden fees, terrible management and planning
First off, RJ was a great technician, and the below review is not reflective of him but towards the management and the company. My request submited for a full day included a vaulted ceiling fan install. There is no reason to not bring a ladder. Waste of my time and money. The fans required extension rods, which needed to be picked up at Home Depot. RJ offered to go get them, after he already looked at the plumbing as well for the kitchen sink. Coming back, he only purchased the two rods, and slapped on a 50% charge for picking up the materials. THAT IS ON TOP OF THE 1 HR HE SPENT PICKING THEM UP FROM HOME DEPOT! What a rip off and cheat!! 100/hr and adding on a 50% service charge for materials, I would of picked them up myself!!! Ricky was present during the beginning, and we walked through the kitchen sink butcher block cut out. He said he would have a specialist come. No one came (apparently he forgot). I ended up needing to purchase a second full day to wrap up smaller items, expecting the specialist to come the second day. When he arrived, he provided a quote. I AM NOT PAYING TO GET A QUOTE!!! I am paying for the initial service I requested that you do not want to provide apparently! So after paying for two days, I still did not get one of my priority projects completed! Again, waste of my time and money. My projects were clearly communicated on my request and over the phone. Terrible planning and communication on the companies behalf and too many cheating cost increases. I strongly do not recommend.

Poor communication, did not meet expectations!
First, RJ was an amazing handy man, and my 1 Star review is not reflective of him, but the poor management and communication of the company. I initially paid for a full day, and clearly outlined in the request what was needed. Despite outlining what needed to be done, they did not bring the correct tools to get the job done, causing a delay initially. Example, a vaulting ceiling fan requires to bring a ladder. The fans required extension rods, which the technician offered to pick up at home Depot, however upon closure for day added a 50% charge for picking up the materials!! That is on top of paying the hour it took for him to take the trip! No communication on this, wasting my time and money!! No need for an upcharge when I am being charged 100 per hour. One of my main projects I needed done was outlined in my request, they came, and told me they would send a specialist out to cut the kitchen counter butcher block. He never came the first day, so i paid for an additional day to add some other projects assuming the specialist will come the second day upon request. Near the end of the day, he came and provided me only a quote. IM NOT PAYING FOR QUOTE! This is a handyman service to do work, work I requested! Not a quote for work because the company can't plan to send the right people out the first time! Now I paid for 2 full days and still don't have one of my priority projects completed. Ricky was there to walk RJ through the job, he should of had someone come that first day to look into the butcher block cutting to get it done! Waste of my time and money. With the shady non communicated up charges on materials and the lack of communication, resulting in not getting my project completed, I would not recommend.

Porch repair
Kipp and Isaac did a tremendous job of installing new posts on my porch and effectively trimming out to match with the old. I would highly recommend Handyman Matters.

Very Responsive & Quality Work
I am a real estate agent here in town and I was in need of a quality handyman service on a listing of mine. Handyman Matters was quick to respond to my inquiry and they had someone out to the home within 24 hours. Dana was great in the office and then Scott did our field work. I can safely say that the work done on the front door was a lifesaver and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Front porch repair
Kipp and Damani were on time and made quick work of my porch. They propped up the roof and removed the old posts so that mudjacking could be done to the concrete. Looking forward to getting them back out to install new posts and trim.
