I wrote recently that Handyman didn't do me any favors with a less-than-satisfactory plumbing experience. But they listened to my complaint and quickly made it up for me, demonstrating once again that they are not a run-of-the-mill-out-to-lunch corporation with unbridled profit as their sole motive. They want to create solid business relationships with their customers. They have never let me down on that score, and they are making me a customer for life.

The gentleman that installed door knobs did not drill his holes correctly. The knobs are not marked correctly and you can see the difference.

I was given a $500 quote for a plumbing job and my experience is that HM honors those quotes. This time the final job, which took less than an hour and included a toilet, came in at $600, much to my dismay. I was able to talk the subcontractor down to $545, but while I did register a complaint with HM, I have not had any clear follow-up on that. I have been very happy with HM up until now, and would recommend them, but I would also be wary of what goes on on the plumbing side of things.

For the fourth time I hired Matt for a full day, and he exceeded my expectations. He got done more work than I expected, sooner that I anticipated, so he had time to do a few extra jobs for me.
