The Handyman that came to do my work is Ryan. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job. He arrived at given time. Was very clean doing the job. I would recommend him in the future.

HAYES WAS VERY INFORMATIVE, HONEST ABOUT WHAT COULD OR COULD NOT DO. GAVE ME INFORMATION AS TO WHO TO CONTACT. REALLY APPRECIATED HIM.

Hayes texted before his arrival and arrived on time. He quickly sized up the work to be done and got started. He assembled and hung a 3-shelf wall unit from IKEA. He hung several paintings and framed posters, always checking-in to ensure things were hung at the right height, etc. At the end of the job, he vacuumed all areas in which he'd worked. The office was easy to work with, and kept us informed of estimated charge. This was a very positive experience, and we will be using them again.

I just had one of your handymen here to fix a hinge on one of my kitchen cabinets and I was very pleased at how well and quickly he completed the job. This was the first time I used Handyman Matters and I know I will be calling the company again whenever I have any type of repair work around my house. I only wish I knew about the company before!!!

I am horrified with the services I received from Handyman Matters. I will not be using them in the future, nor would I recommend them to others. Over the course of two separate appointments, I need a small amount of outside trim to be repainted, two front doors repainted, the downstairs toilet to be fixed, and two upstairs sinks to be looked at. It took over 5 hours, two "service fees," and right now, I am left with a broken toilet, a very sloppy paint job, and a sink that is still not fixed. I've also had to take two days off of work, which is a cost in and of itself. The total cost for all of these services is close to $500 - that is just time and "fees." I provided all of the equipment, paint, toilet repair kit, etc. After the first visit, the repairman spent over an hour looking at my toilet. A friend had just completely replaced the entire kit inside; only a small part was missing on the bottom. Regardless, the repairman advised me an entirely new toilet kit was needed. I purchased it. On his second visit, again, after another hour of taking things apart, he informed me he had advised me to purchase the wrong kit. He said he was happy to look around town for a new kit. At $85/hr? Are you kidding me? No. When I realized I would now be responsible for yet another 3+ hrs of time, I asked him pack up his things and leave. My toilet is still broken and I now have two new kits sitting next to the toilet. The repairman spent over 90 minutes painting my solid front doors. When he left, I noticed all the blue paint smudges around the outside of my door, on the beige trim. There are also blue paint smears on the metal around the doors. The upstairs sink drain is literally sitting next to the faucet. The repairman told that "that's how it works." It should also be noted the hygiene of the repairman is greatly in question. I cannot get his smell out of my house. When I called to speak with the owner, I was sent to VM. I left a message. No return call as of yet.

I hared Handyman Matters for some jobs around the house. Hayes was very friendly and skilled and had a keen attention to detail. He installed a new faucet in the kitchen, hauled away some old lawn furniture and replaced my old and worn out pet door. I highly recommend him for any job around the house. I will be using his services again in the future.

Brad went SO FAR above and beyond, I am in awe. I am a Realtor with a luxury home listing that had many needs. Brad walked the property, making a list of items he believed were necessary to get the home sale-ready. My sellers agreed with literally everything he suggested, and hunkered down for the estimate to arrive..... and when it did, it was HALF what they anticipated. They wasted no time getting us on the calendar. Their software system even sends a text/email to let you know their ETA (super cool). Even more, when the work was complete it was more impressive than any of us could imagine. Honestly I just can’t say enough good about Brad and this company. You know all those THINGS around the house you need done? What are you waiting for? Brad is your man 😊
