Charged service fee for requesting an estimate
I called to request an estimate for replacing an exterior door. They set me up right away for someone to come out. After the man came and took a few photos and measurements, I had to pay $75 for a service call fee. I wasn't expecting that when I made the appointment nor was I told beforehand. They did apologize for the misunderstanding, but still didn't feel super great about it... 🤔 very unusual to every other interaction I've had with a company.

Josh did an outstanding job of installing a pet door on my laundry room door. From start to finish, he had the installation complete in just over 2-1/2 hours. This included picking up a pet door at Petco, removing the door, cutting the hole, installing the pet door and reinstalling the laundry room door.
Jason was a truly gifted craftsman and did outstanding work. I am extremely happy with the work and would recommend Ace Handyman services for your home repair needs.

Great service, flexible and friendly
The two contractors that showed up were punctual, easily able to handle multiple different small jobs my office needed (curtains, whiteboards, acoustic ceiling panel replacement and fluorescent light replacement). The cleaned up the space so it remains professional looking, and the app they used made approval and payment a breeze. I'll use Ace again!
