On time and great service

I wish I had several employees like Eduardo. He did a good job. I have already given Ace Handyman a referral.

Mr. Moran arrived in a very timely manner, in fact, earlier than expected, but that was certainly fine for the jobs I needed. I explained what needed to be done in about 15 minutes, and he had an immediate handle on the situation. There were five jobs that needed to be done, and after he finished the first one, he went to get additional parts/supplies, and after his return immediately completed the most difficult job, and had all the jobs handled within less than four hours. He explained his process and the billing policies fully, in advance, and we were able to maintain excellent communication. All in all, a successful project completion, and I am sure that I will ask for his additional services in the future. One additional matter – Mr. Moran did not have my email address, and I am not used to using a cell phone, so he could not give me an itemized receipt for the bill. I would request such itemized email receipt through the main office. Thank you.

Working with Ace Handyman has been so easy! Eduardo was very communicative and fixed our problem quickly. Will use them again in the future.

Mel arrived on time and was very professional and honest regarding the work to be done on my list. He is very conscientious and does beautiful work.

Prompt proficient & polite

I won't use names. Handyman A was scheduled to look at my repair project on a Friday morning. No show; no call. I contacted the office and got a return call. He was sick that day. OK, but no call? The office rescheduled him for Monday morning. He showed, looked at it, looked at material I already had, took some measurements and gave me an estimate of six hours plus any additional materials. I thought "wow", he must be good as I was expecting a longer time. He was to come back on Thursday to do the work. Ten minutes before scheduled start time I received a call that he had a personal problem to deal with and would come Friday morning. OK again; these things happen. Friday morning Handyman B shows up...a replacement for Handyman A. We went over my entire repair project again. The six hour estimate he had been given from A was nowhere near what he thought would be required and suggested I get the whole thing replaced rather than spot repaired. I decided to have him do as much as he could within my one day expectation, and then I'd go from there. It put B, who did his best with fine workmanship, in a terrible position, but he was not able to do all I had hoped for. I believe Handyman A low-balled the repair estimate and then dumped it on B to deal with the reality. My complaint is not at all with Handyman B but with ACE who, in my mind, allowed this to occur.

Mel did a great job. He had great suggestions and the fantastic work.

They were not able to completely solve the problem. We probably need to replace the sliding glass doors, however, they stayed and worked very hard to make sure it was better!!! They went above and beyond.
