On time, I loved that I could get the job started at 6am! The job was completed, Jim was awesome with communication about the problem & how to tackle it. He was so concerned about how it happened, and really put the diagnosis to work. We had a leak under the toilet repaired, and wood in the bath was replaced. It looks fabulous!!! The cost was really good, and I didn't have to deal with a plumber & wood floor repair person. I highly recommend them, and Jim. Can't wait to get you back for more work here!

Repair of Bottom Latch on French Door. A number of years ago, one of our kids slid into our French Door and split the bottom. This caused the latch to be unstable. The technician was able to stabilize the door and fix the problem in two hours. Unfortunately, I required a return visit as the latch was difficult to move and opening the door was a problem. It turns out the the epoxy used to fix the door had leached onto the latch. When the epoxy dried the latch became immovable (a hammer was required to move it). Technician explained what happened and solved the problem by removing the epoxy on the latch.

I have a rental property and have been able to find a competent company to fix/repair issues. Handyman Matters called me back same day and the issue was fixed two days later. They were responsive and appropriately priced.

Not happy will not recommend or use again

We were very pleased with JIm's work in replacing the damaged tile in our family room. Would certainly use Handyman Matters again.

What a well run business. I had gone through 3-4 contractors before landing with Handyman Matters. While the cost was higher, I was happy to pay for the service. They were able to get me scheduled earlier than anticipated and even called me to let me know. If you want a handyman service that actually understands customer service, this is the go to company!

I thought we were going to get a couple of things fixed but apparently misunderstood the arrangement. Noisy Overhead Fan in Bathroom - the handyman (who was polite & professional) identified the problem, gave me the model number of the fan unit, said go buy it and we'll come back and install it. The reason I hired the handyman is because I don't have the time to go fan shopping. Broken Rollers on Accordion Blind - handyman worked diligently to identify maker of blind but was unsuccessful. His proposed solution was to return with a crewman to remove a valance so that he could identify the maker. The best solution in the interest of the customer (me) would have been to realize he was in over his head and recommend someone who specialized in this type of blind.

HM replaced a door for me in an hour that would have taken me all day. And, he did a better job than I would have done. Best money I spent in awhile. Thank you.

The service was professional and rendered in a timely manner. The tech was courteous and very knowledgeable. This is my second service call and I would use Handyman Matters again.
