Excellent Service
Keith was a true professional and expert. He made quick quality work of the list of projects that we had. He also gave us ideas for other ways to meet our goals and set us up to get quotes on them. He was great. We would recommend him to anyone.

James was our craftsman yesterday who ably installed our storm door and completed other needed maintenance tasks at the home. We appreciate James' professionalism. The process to schedule the appointment was easy and the email and text reminders about the appointment were helpful along with the communication prior to James arriving. Thank you Ace Handyman for a great home service experience. We are already thinking about additional "to do" items that your staff can completed in the future!

Great service, on time, friendly, did good work
Keith replaces the door jamb on our front door and made adjustments so it closed properly again. The work performed was excellent and he was on time and very polite. Would recommend

Another excellent job!
Ace Handyman Matters technician Keith came back to do another job for us, and we were once again very pleased with his work. He was originally scheduled to come in the morning, but it rained, so he exchanged his afternoon inside job with ours and worked for us in the afternoon. He replaced a wooden step leading up to our deck, replaced some broken lattice, and tightened up some loose structure underneath. The door handle that we had bought for him to install was the wrong kind, so he very generously offered to come back in a couple of days and install the correct kind for no additional charge. I'd like to repeat what I wrote in my last review: Keith is not only a skilled professional but also a really nice guy. We highly recommend him!

Workmanship and materials were excellent! Gene was a fantastic remodeler. Always showed up on time and does excellent work. I would highly recommend a handyman matters and Geneto my family and friends

Great job, Keith!
Keith did an excellent job hanging a screen door for us. He ran into a couple of problems but solved them immediately. We will have him back in a few days for another project. In addition to being a technician with expertise, Keith is a really nice guy.

Questionable Business Practices
Hired Ace earlier this month to replace a battery in a 2 story ceiling smoke detector and to replace some lighting. Handyman showed up and took 20mins to come up with pricing. The 20mins was incorporated in my bill, so no free estimates. I provided a list of items and looking to get a few done in 2-3 hours. The estimate on hours per item were outrageous. He estimated 2 hours to replace 2 simple, modern wiring wall sconces. Estimated 20 mins to replace the battery in the fire detector. Prices were consistently crazy on the other items. I went ahead and let him do the battery and sconces. I counted 11 times he went from my living room to his truck for supplies. Outside of wire cutters and a screwdriver, what else could he be doing!? He was wasting time to get to 2 hrs. Total scam.

I researched this job and found the following. We fully explained how our service works when we set up the appointment. The craftsman arrived on time and reviewed the projects. He and the customer agreed to 1 hour 45 minutes for the tasks to be completed and our craftsman completed those tasks in the allotted time. Our company van GPS puts our craftsmen onsite for 2 hours and 8 minutes and we did not charge for the estimate time. Also, our craftsman was in a different company van that day because his van was in for service. Unfortunately, this could have caused a few extra trips out to the van. Our team is always disappointed when our customers are not completely happy with their service. I have reached out to this customer, apologized that we were unable to satisfy him, and have come to an agreeable resolution. Paul – Owner.
