I had my first appointment with Dr. Jay Citrin yesterday morning, and for which I had already completed the initial intake forms provided on his website which was a real time-saver. I was met with overwhelming kindness and respect by 'Dr. Jay' and his caring, knowledgeable, professional staff, all of whom encouraged questions, provided thorough answers, and put me at ease in preparation for the initial exam, x-rays and subsequent extractions to be performed. Post-procedure instructions were clear and concise, and were provided both verbally and in writing to ensure the patient's understanding. I never felt any pain (as promised by 'Dr. Jay') during or following the procedure, and I will be returning (much less apprehensive) in 2 weeks for routine follow-up and suture removal. The entire experience was calm, comforting, non-judgmental and supportive. Thank you Dr. Jay and staff!

Called Dr. Citron's office in the morning and was able to see the doctor in the afternoon. State of the art technology and expertise led to a diagnosis and prognosis.

Wonderful dentist office from the friendly administrative staff to the dental hygienist to Dr. Citrin. The staff is efficient and friendly. They did not recommend unnecessary treatment. Dr. Citrin genuinely makes you feel welcome.

The fillings needing attention according to the x-ray all showed decay underneath. So glad Dr Citrin spotted these early. His assertion that I would not even feel the injections were pretty right as well, and he manages to hide the syringe from view since this is my main phobia. Today there was a bit of a wait, but the staff was friendly and efficient, and competent in addressing concerns of seniors as well as kids. I'm so glad I found a fabulous dental office.

As I walked past a lovely outdoor fountain surrounded by beautiful plants, I immediately felt more peaceful. This positive feeling was carried over in the interactions I had with everyone in the office. I was very happy with my cleaning and exam, and would recommend this office to others.

I used to be phobic of dentists due to bad experiences I'd had early in life. I rarely went to the dentist and only when I was in so much pain I couldn't stand it. Then I found Dr. Jay and I have been going to him regularly for years. I've had him do everything from root canals and tooth extractions to general check ups and cleanings. He and his team have always been fantastic. Every member of his staff is wonderful. Really, going to the dentist has become a pleasant experience for me. Not only would I recommend him to others, but I have, several times.

Nancy was my dental hygienist today and used an electric/ultrasonic scaler to clean my teeth. This is a much more painless way of cleaning than the scraping and stabbing of old, which made my daughter take an Advil before her visits to our former dentist. Nancy will have you smiling on your way out : )
