Having retired to Tucson about a year ago I've been trying to find a good dentist, but neighbors and friends either weren't very happy with theirs, or the office was way across town. Dr Citrin got awesome reviews on the internet, was not too far to go, but most importantly is an all around dentist who doesn't refer you to someone else when the going gets tough - very important for someone who's a chicken when it comes to dental visits. This time it was just X-rays all around since I last had them 4 years ago, and I wanted to be sure there were no problems that might ruin our up-coming vacation in Asia. Dr Citrin was very good at showing me photos of the fillings which were starting to disintegrate and explaining what needed to be done and why. He assured me that I wouldn't even feel the injections which is my main phobia, so I'm actually confidently looking forward to my next appointment. The staff is competent, super friendly and compassionate and tries to fit you in their schedule in a timely manner.

I've never had to wait for an appointment. They are always flexible with my schedule.

From the minute you are professionally greeted by Kathi at the front desk you KNOW you're in good hands! Natalie, my hygienist, is super skilled, friendly & funny. And as for Dr. Jay, it just doesn't get any better! Is it possible that one can actually look forward to their next dental visit? Dr Jay Citrin and his Staff are kind, considerate, and professional! My husband and I recently retired, and moved to Oro Valley, and ironically both had dental problems that resulted in appointments with Dr. Jay. His office was prompt to help us to get our dental work completed in the most efficient way! When I had the novocaine for a the new crown for my tooth I had broken, he was very gentle and I hardly even felt it. We have never had a doctor or dentist ever show us such appreciation as new patients before. We were so pleased and impressed!!!

Simply put, Dr. Jay is tops in every respect.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Citrin for about 2 years now. Our previous dentist retired and we thought we would never find a dentist with the same skills and approach to dentistry, but we did when we found Dr. Citrin!. He is very friendly and explains what needs to be done with problem teeth and give options as well. The modern equipment he uses is fantastic. Recently I began work on a crown on a lower molar. He uses a small camera to take over-lapping images of the surrounding teeth that creates an 3-D image so that a dental lab can create the crown that I will need. I loved this technique, since the worst part of getting crowns and bridges was the goopey stuff in a dental tray that you had to keep in your mouth way too long! I also think his chair assistant Erin is excellent. She's very understanding and takes the extra time to deal with my TMJ and seems to be Dr. Citrin's 3rd hand so effortlessly. I also think he has great dental hygienists on staff as well. All the staff are great and Kathie, the receptionist keeps it all running smoothly. So far everything has been good. I only hope Dr. Citrin doesn't retire any time soon.

We feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Citrin. Kathy is so friendly and personable. Dr. Citrin is a great dentist who never recommends unnecessary work. The hygienists have all been capable and nice. I love that the appointments are on time, showing a respect for their patient's time. I feel very comfortable and cared for here and would highly recommend this dental office.
