I had a long list of minor jobs that needed to be done, such as replacing recessed lights, tightening loose chair legs, replacing CO2 detectors, etc. The scheduling process was professional and efficient. Andre arrived on time and was knowledgeable and competent in his work. Although he was not able to get through the entire list, all important work was done. I would call Handyman Matters again.

We had an annoying plumbing issue with a non-clearing drain in a bathroom sink. Chris from HM patiently sorted it out, and left us with a working sink, and feeling very pleased with how he had handled things.

Installed an outlet for a microwave.. wonderful work.

Andre was everything you ever wanted in a handyman. He explained what he was about to do & why he was doing it in a certain fashion. He scraped all the old caulk off & applied the new with excellent results. He wasn't able to remove the old caulk from the shower stall because of the abundance of soap scum but told us how we should get rid of the soap scum. He painted our kitchen toe board & touched up our cabinet. Next time I need some work done, you can be sure I'll ask for Andre from Handyman Matters.

Handyman Matters is my go to for work around the house that I don’t have the time or skills to do myself. Their staff are reliable, friendly, capable and conscientious. My latest job involved relocating a thermostat that was not working due to its proximity to heat generating equipment. Jose G talked through the issue, consulted on the solution and applied a lower impact option than originally planned. That saved time and effort that was anticipated for the job. He proactively used a portion of that time to help me troubleshoot an unrelated humidifier detachment issue he noticed during the appointment. I now know how to resolve an issue that I didn’t even know existed before the appointment but has been causing frustrating heating/air quality issues for months.

Very good communications with office staff with only one complaint: cancellation of service date the afternoon before but they did immediately offer a new/time date. The service person, Jose, was very polite and knowledgeable. I had 5 ceiling lights changed out, including 2 very old recessed lights. The recessed lights turned out to have somewhat faulty wires and other issues but Jose was able to correct those issues efficiently. The service call took significantly less time then estimated and everything was in good working order when he left.
