We had a few different units that needed work in our condo building and hired handyman matters based on great reviews and Angie's list recommendations. We had some dry walling done secondary to water damage and tiling done. The dry wall was uneven and bowed, when one of the men left I said to him this paint job looks streaky and was not done correctly and he told me "it will dry even". Well it did not and they had to come back. After repainting I pointed out an area of water damage that they completely missed and they had to come back for a third time; charging me a $45 travel fee each time. They also charged for supplies each time which they did not leave with us but took back with them. The tiling was done correctly but we were told it would be done in 2 days and took over a week. Overall, it was a hassle and the work was sub-par. Took 2 months to get everything finalized. I would never hire this company again. Good luck to anyone who already has.

I had a short punch list of items to be completed--fixing a shelf, a cabinet, and securing a curtain rod. The handy man was on-time, provided high-quality work, and was very courteous and friendly. I had a few little things (replace bulbs in overhead fluorescent light, find and remove things blocking cabinet lazy Susan, fasten piece of molding that had come off. I also had one bigger thing - a ceiling fan had died and needed to be replaced. Andre was just wonderful. He was there on time, helped me get the new fan out of my car and then helped me take out trash at the end. Everything went smoothly, he put down a drop cloth to catch screws and such-like odds and ends. Before leaving, he took the time to make sure I knew how to use the fan remote. I will definitely be keeping lists of things that need doing and will call when it's time.

The man who came to jelp me with 2 things was NOT knowledgeable or helpful at all! No suggestions as to where and how to find someone to get rid og a wasp's nest burrowed in to our house. (former H.M. man who'd have found someone and supervised the work).Painter only did part of the job! Said the rest was too hard to reach! (hadn't they heard of ladders?)

Recently I needed garage repair. It involved replacing a complete wood panel near the very top of the garage' Two reviews of the garage were done, and when work commenced it was completed in less than 3 hours. The men that visited were professional. and clear about what was possible. I was very satisfied that the work was completed correctly, and in a timely fashion. I would recommend them to all my friends.

Had a bunch of things done from installing a hand rail to hanging a light and many other things-Andre was wonderful- he’s very experienced and a nice person.handyman matters is great about sending various texts the entire process, making sure you know when your craftsman left and when he’ll arrive.
