Professional
Shawn was very professional and did an excellent job installing my closet shelf. He went above and beyond to get new faucets at Home Depot and installed my toilet seats. This was done very quickly since I was on a tight schedule. Montana, the receptionist was extremely nice and understood my needs when she scheduled my appt.

Great handyman for your honey do list
This is my second time using Handyman Matters and Ive had good experiences both times. I had shelves mounted, cabinet doors installed, bathroom fixtures installed, hooks and mirrors hung. If i asked for correction it was accommodated with ease. Prices are reasonable. So much better than trying to do it myself. My last handyman even went to hardware store for me and to pick up needed parts. Very pleased

quality service, professional and polite
Josh did a great job installing new faucets and doing other repairs around the house. He's very concerned about doing good work and cleaning up afterwards. My only complaint is that the office shouldn't schedule someone to arrive in Short Pump at 8 am when they have to drive from Chester!

Professional, Great Service
Handyman arrived on time and was ready to work. Polite, pleasant, worked quickly and cleanly. Made sure job was done correctly. Second time using this company and happy with the outcome. Would recommend to friends and family.

Late - no notice
The job was scheduled for Monday. No one showed up. I had to call the dispatcher to see if some one was coming out. I was told that they could not contact the gentleman that was scheduled to arrive at 8am. I scheduled another appointment for the next day. On Tuesday the appointment was scheduled for 10am. At that time no one showed up again. No one from dispatch called me to let me know anything about arrival time. I had to call them again, I was told that he was on his way in 30 to 40 minutes. He arrived and hour later. The bottom line is that the gentleman came and did a good job with the project.. My mother said he was a nice young man and she is very satisfied with the job. I think that I should have been compensated some way but I was charged full price. Better communication with the customer and dispatch is the key to this episode. I will give this episode 3 1/2 stars.

Late - no notice
After receiving several emails and texts that my appt was confirmed and my Handyman was on the way for an 8am appointment, I had to call at 8:30 to find out where he was. Turns out he was scheduled another job at the same time and he’d be late. He never showed. They dispatched another person who arrived at 11 - 1/2 a day shot. They couldn’t finish the work that day because it was scheduled as a 2 person job. They had to schedule someone for the next day. No discount, apology, etc... the only further contact was an email asking for payment. The work the handyman, Steve, did was very good, thus a 2 rating. The scheduling and demeanor of the office was poor.

Jerry, thank you for sharing your perspective and pointing out the breakdown. We've had a good discussion in the office this morning about your job. For us, service is extremely important and our entire team takes it seriously; I apologize for the entire team that we let you down. The second craftsman was terminated for not showing up for your job a few weeks ago; while that doesn't help your situation, please understand that sometimes there are issues beyond the control of the office that impact the jobs (vehicle breakdowns, sick employees, employees without child care for the day, etc.) and we try hard to insulate the customers from these situations by rescheduling the work or by moving craftsmen from one job to another when needed to accommodate customer schedules. On the bright side, my understanding is that we were able to perform the work for much less than we quoted you originally and your review didn't mention that.

Did superb under adverse conditions
Steve, did a great job in very hot conditions, dripping sweat conditions. (No AC) was polite courteous and got most of my jokes! Excellent worker.
