Arrived late, but called to let me know he was on the way. Started job, but didn’t have all the tools or materials needed. Left to get them which increased the time on the job. Completed the job and did a good job. Adjusted the time on the job accordingly. I would recommend Cecil as a Handyman.

I used to love this company and recommend them but no longer. Hired for painting and power-washing. The painting color was not a match but let that go. The power wash job was incomplete and they came back a second time. Still not complete and waited two months for them to return. No return, no invoice and then a threat of collections because bill was three months old. Was pressured to leave a check on guarantee that job would be completed next day. Came home to job still incomplete. But they got paid.

After having been involved in a car accident and not being allowed to lift and carry things (but sitting there and looking at all the things that needed to be done)I had made quite a list of things that needed repair. After researching storm doors, I had an estimate from a product and manufacturing company that was astronomical and way out of my budget. Knowing the price of replacement doors at hardware stores from my research, made it obvious that I really needed to have some things taken care of without the "specialty service" price tag that came with my first estimate. I contacted Handyman Matters and was so pleased to make my own choices on what items for my repairs and discovered that I could add other repairs from my list for a third of the cost of only one storm door replacement. Steve arrived early, met my dog, picked up supplies, finished great work in record time, cleaned up all the replaced items, and now I'm enjoying crossing things off my list. I told you my list was long so I'll be back with more jobs in the future because I feel as much satisfaction as if I had done the jobs myself! Thank you for such a great experience.

I was excited to get this project started but my Handyman was not efficient with his time. My timeframe and cost tripled.

Dave was on time and did a great job painting my front door. He was very friendly. I would definitely use them again!

Should have called Handyman Matters first! After several attempts from other company’s to review my window repair with an unclear outcome. I called Handy Man Matters and the repair was resolved. Steve took the time to listen, explain the issue and review how to repair the leak around my window. After several heavy rains it’s safe to say that the repair was successful! Steve was very good in finding solutions that Many others would Have given up! When faced with the end of the day and a problem Steve chose to return early the next day with a fix the next day. We loved the service we get from Handyman Matters and the folks they hire. We will use them at every chance

Thanks to my cat's "stupid pet trick" -- repeatedly opening the pull-out trash bin unit in my kitchen to go "dumpster diving" -- the frame was leaning slightly on one side and no longer securely screwed inside the cabinet. It was still gliding in and out just fine until recently, when suddenly the whole structure fell out, still attached to the metal tracks! Knowing this was one of those must-fix-yesterday projects, I scanned the many positive reviews and decided to call Handyman Matters. What I had hoped would just be a simple re-insertion and re-securing of the original unit inside the cabinet -- an older Rev-A-Shelf model designed to match the rest of the kitchen -- turned out to be a little more complicated. Thankfully, however, Steve not only figured out he could reinstall and re-attach it by replacing the original tracks, he also went to HD and bought the exact pair of new ones that would fit, something that alone would have taken me half a day to do! Then in virtually no time at all, he attached the tracks and remounted the frame unit securely inside the cabinet. Where it looks -- and smoothly glides! -- better than new. So as a single, older woman who considers my home's never-ending maintenance woes a huge pain in the pocketbook AND the you-know-what, I am SO relieved to know I now have a professional, trustworthy source to turn to for those "honey-do" projects and one-off jobs the big-box stores and large contractors don't want to bother with. Now the only thing left to do is put together a list for the next time ... and to put the cat in time-out ;-)
