I worked with Ace Handyman Services to install a new front door on my home. I had purchased an iron door and frame from California. When it got here, it had a custom built crate and was on a pallet; altogether the weight was 500 pounds. I had no idea what to expect; but I was not expecting a 500lb shipment. This was way different than what we expected. Chris from Ace Handyman was on site on time at 8:30am. Everything had to be custom done; nothing was going to just "slide in". The door opening was an inch too narrow so they had to saw a little off both sides and the top so the iron frame that came with the door would fit. The door itself was 300 pounds; I had no idea the door would be that heavy, even though it was an iron door. Chris did all the special custom work to fit the iron frame perfectly. We wrestled this behemoth of a door onto the hinges and then Chris got to work re-assembling all the trim pieces, refitting the doorbell button and making sure everything worked and looked perfect. This was a BIG custom request. I honestly had no idea it would be this involved. Chris told me this was the first time he'd done a door like mine but you wouldn't know it from what we ended up with. We had to spend a couple more hours than the estimate, but he/we were not at all expecting what came in the shipment; the estimate given when he came over was for a door already in the frame including the trim...and it would just slide in...and it would not have weighed 300 lbs and require the entire door opening to be widened...he was clear about the type of job he was giving the estimate for up front. there was no surprises in that area and he even apologized for having to charge more than the estimate. The extra was very nominal and I knew he spent another 3 hours than he estimated; again the estimate was for a completely different level of challenge and complexity....It was a LOT more work than what we expected would be needed. Chris is great to work with; professional, smiling, good sense of humor and the quality of the work is first rate. There was never any doubt in his voice when he told me we were going to get it taken care of, and they did. All packing materials for the new door (and there was a LOT of it) and other things were completely cleaned up...he even swept out the foyer even though I told him it wasn't necessary. I feel very lucky that I reached out to Ace Handyman for my new front door installation. I was treated very well also by their office staff. They're a great bunch of folks doing some great work. I have an AWESOME new iron front door and frame....I will definitely be reaching out to Ace for my next project(s).

I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate the great service I received.. I'm a real estate professional and it's very difficult to find someone who can span trades. My tradesman covered everything from electrical and plumbing to helping me carry a plant.. I would recommend them to anyone

Chris did an excellent job in 6 hours as he cut the trim sideboard for our downstairs basement stairs and stained existing board and patched gap in existing board so it wasn't noticeable at all. Quality work and would use again. Carlos and Chris installed the shower enclosure we had been waiting to get done after two previous contractors failed to do it for two years. so happy to get this done. Quality work.

Got a bed from nfm but head board too high. Jeremy the carpenter brought over tools and got it fixed perfectly. Fair estimate given over phone after I sent photos. Arrived on time and did a no fuss job. Also wore a mask when I asked him to. Tipped him well as he deserved it. Will use service again.

There were several things that needed to be fixed… A new gate to handle a zero turn mower, several light fixtures, a hole the stupid squirrels keep putting in the house, new storm door. All handled very professionally.

I did not even know Ace had a Handyman service and I needed someone to get in there ASAP to complete some work on my rental property. They had a cancelation and was able to accommodate me by getting someone in there within 1 week. I had the pleasure of dealing with Carlos who went above and beyond to make sure the job was done. I would recommend them to anyone that needs to have work done. He had to come out a couple of times as we were waiting on the Mud to dry before he was able to paint and instead of just getting it done he wanted to make sure that it was done and done right. I appreciate the office staff who was very pleasant as well. I promise once you have them come out you will want them to help with future projects. Thank you all for a job well done!!!!!
