Neil is the best! He spent the whole day today helping me prepare my home for sale. His expertise was invaluable when selecting material, ensuring it was good quality and reasonable cost. His sense of humor, along with his strong work ethic made the day fly by, completing almost all the items on my repair list/estimate. He is very upfront when making recommendations, steering toward the more cost effective options. I am so glad my son referred the company to me.

There are 4 outlets fail off. He fixed one of them. He believes the root cause of other outlet failure is the fuse. So he said he can't fix them.

I've used Ace Handyman in the past, and highly recommend them. Nate is very responsive to returning calls, arranging appointments, then following up after the work is completed. I am preparing to sell my 100 + yr old home where I've lived over 40 yrs. Neil has been very helpful in looking at what I think needs to be done, then advising the most economical route as well as getting the realtors input on any questionable more costly repairs. Neil is always very pleasant, efficient, does outstanding work and overall a pleasure to work with. I make phone calls for people who need help setting up appointments. It took 4 calls with messages left for me to receive a call back. At first I was impressed with Nate on the phone, as he was very personable and asked knowledgeable questions and took detailed information. When the appointment was set up, I gave very detailed instructions about all projects needed, and told Nate, the owner, twice that my client did not understand the problems with his home that needed repair and that if there were questions, to call me. In spite of this, Neil, the serviceman, asked my client about the problem with the washer, which I had detailed clearly on the intake phone call. My client gave a vague, incorrect description of the problem and instead of following the directions I had provided or calling me, Neil indicated there was no problem and simply ignored it. Another item on the list, the toilet, was simply not done. Nate's reason was that he forgot to add it to the list. During the initial phone call, I hadn't put the toilet on the list, but as soon as I hung up with Nate I realized my mistake and called him right back. He told me he was "adding the toilet to the list right now." Clearly he wasn't , as he told me after the fact that it wasn't on the list, and that he must have forgotten. Forgetting isn't a big problem. We all do it. However, when put together with all the other mistakes that took place, it appears to be more negligence than forgetting. There were 3 items on the list that were completed, and at the moment appear to be working well. However, this does not make all the hassle in dealing with this company worth it.
