Professional cost with DIY results
I contracted for a single room, PAINT-READY, spackle job covering ~600sqft. New drywall was previously installed on all walls and ceiling. After 3 working days, ~17 gallons on spackle, and over $2,000, none of the surface were even close to being ready for paint. I had to spend another 2 days patching every corner and sanding the entire space. I recommend finding a true professional, and probably paying the same price.

Neil was excellent. He repaired soffits which were falling down, and he also installed studs to attach a second handrail to go down steep stairs to the basement.

Excellent, skilled, and professional work.
Neil arrived and I felt immediate confidence that my complicated furniture assembly was in the right hands. He was friendly, knowledgeable and resourceful. When my floor turned out to be uneven, he came up with a solution that did not compromise safety nor appearance. While Ace is a bit pricier than others, you get what you pay for! Neil was great and I will call Ace for other projects.
