David did excellent work in a timely manner

We had to have our shed moved to allow repair of our brick chimney. Today the shed was moved out of the way and they will be coming back to reassemble it. The professionals were right on time and did the work quickly. The quick scheduling by the office staff allowed keeping the car in the garage - which is where the contents of the shed are now - longer and allowed the mason's schedule to be accommodated. They also took a look at another project I had while they were here!

I hired Ace to paint a bathroom that needed some repair to the wall and painting trim around windows that were installed a few years ago. I thought they had allowed a day and a half to complete the work. The first guy that came was very attentive to detail,but did not finish one day. Not sure how the repair to the drywall could have had time to dry before painting. His boss thought he should have been done in one day. I had to reschedule (not the next day) to have it completed. The boss came and finished but I had to point out that he missed the trim on the drywall door. And the repair to the bathroom wall was obvious. When I later inspected the trim, it was done rather sloppily and I did the touch up. He said he would come back and fix the wall, but they never called me and I will not calla them.

We purchased a screen door for our home. Unfortunately I am disabled and required installation from a contractor. Another contractor cleaning our vents highly recommended Ace Handyman Services. Within a week a very professional contractor came on time and installed the front screen door. He also fixed a few window problems we had. Called when he was on the way. Arrived early and had the knowledge to do the installation. Highly recommend Ace Handyman Services

I got a consultation for a project i wanted done which cost $99. I was told the service person could perform any job we wanted as they charged per hour. The consultation fee would be taken off if I booked within 30 days. The service person came out and appeared as if he had no clue what he was talking about and told me just painting handrails on the stairs would be a whole day and replacing spindles would be another day. We decided against the job but had other things we wanted done. He said no problem just call the office and as long as we book the fee would be deducted. When I called the office Ashley (who was VERY nice throughout the process) came back to tell me whoever she asked on the back said we had to book a 4 hour job at $120 per hour in order to get the consultation fee deducted because we didn't book the job. This was not explained to me or i would not have booked that waste of time consult. I should have known better because most companies don't charge for an estimate. Maybe they have had other clients not book because service person seems unsure or info they are providing. Basically they told me they don't really know if it can be properly done until they start taking things apart. Am I supposed to wait until they tear up my newly built home to say sorry we can't do it. I would never use this company or recommend them.

So happy with the way this whole process went. Scheduling was fast and easy, and communication was very thorough and clear throughout. The guys showed up right on time and knocked out 2 projects (that I've been putting off for years) in just a couple of hours. Very glad my wife set this whole thing up. The costs were low but the craftsmanship and expediency were top notch. Jake did an excellent job every step of the way and was much appreciated ! Hoping to get the crew back out here in the future, Thanks !
